CSIR startup conclave to showcase 80 innovators

The CSIR Startup Conclave Hyderabad 2025 is set to open on April 22. The event will showcase 80 innovators from three city-based labs. The conclave aims to highlight advancements and creative solutions being developed in Hyderabad’s scientific community.

Innovators from various domains will present their work, network with industry leaders, and seek collaborations or funding. The event underscores Hyderabad’s position as a hub of innovation and entrepreneurial activity. It is expected to attract attention from investors, industry experts, and policymakers who are eager to support emerging talent.

Three major CSIR labs in Hyderabad are collaborating to host the two-day conclave at the IICT campus. The labs are CSIR-IICT, CSIR-NGRI, and CSIR-CCMB. Union Minister of State for Science & Technology Jitender Singh will inaugurate the conclave.

Union Minister of Coal & Mines G. Kishan Reddy will be the chief guest on the concluding day.

Showcasing Hyderabad’s innovative startups

The event is open to students, industries, and budding entrepreneurs. It will showcase emerging technologies ready for commercial exploitation and ongoing research projects. The CSIR labs are prepared to support startups with scientific inputs, infrastructure, and a pathway to funding.

The Atal Incubation Centre at CCMB has supported 170 startups in life sciences. The conclave will feature keynote sessions from scientists, panel discussions, technology demonstrations, and startup pitch sessions. An exhibition pavilion will showcase cutting-edge technologies from the host labs and startups that have been incubated through them.

Around 70-80 startup companies will showcase their work at the conclave. The event aims to connect ecosystems and foster innovation. Attendees will witness technological advancements presented by the top science and technology labs in the country.
