Kavikrut has been appointed as the CEO of T-Hub, a startup incubator based in Hyderabad, effective from March 10. With over 17 years of experience in leadership roles, Kavikrut previously served as the Chief Growth Officer at OYO, where he was instrumental in expanding the hospitality aggregator’s footprint to over 100 cities and towns in India. During his tenure at OYO, Kavikrut also spearheaded the company’s international expansion in partnership with Yahoo! Japan and SoftBank Japan in 2018.

Sujit Jagirdar has been leading T-Hub as its Interim CEO following the completion of the term of Mahankali Srinivasa Rao (MSR) late last year.

Hyderabad startup leader joins T-Hub

Welcoming the new appointment, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for IT and Industries of the Government of Telangana, expressed confidence in Kavikrut’s ability to lead T-Hub.

“His passion for startups, global experience, and hands-on operational skills made him the ideal leader for T-Hub. His leadership will play a crucial role in making India a powerhouse of entrepreneurship,” Ranjan remarked. T-Hub, established by the Telangana Government and supported by a Board of Directors comprising members of Hyderabad’s industry and academic ecosystem, has supported over 2,000 startups since its inception.
