Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and Intel India have launched the micro-learning module ‘AI for Entrepreneurship’. This initiative will simplify artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and encourage entrepreneurial thinking among 1 lakh young innovators across India by 2025. The module is part of India’s vision to foster innovation and promote inclusivity in learning.

It covers key areas such as how AI can be leveraged for business growth, entrepreneurial strategies, and innovative problem-solving. The content is designed to be accessible to both urban and rural learners. Jayant Chaudhary, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, said, “Today we stand at the intersection of innovation and opportunity, where AI has the potential to realize the dreams of tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.

Gokul Subramaniam, president of Intel India, noted that AI as a technology unlocks many possibilities, bringing about a generational shift.

By offering the home-grown entrepreneurship education content as part of Intel’s AI skilling initiative, we aim to inspire young minds to create innovative business solutions and contribute to India’s societal and economic growth,” he said. Participants who complete the module will receive an industry-endorsed joint certification from MSDE, NSDC, Skill India, and Intel.

Ai-powered innovation for entrepreneurs

The program reflects a growing push towards equipping young Indians with digital skills needed to navigate the evolving job market. It seeks to make AI more accessible while promoting entrepreneurship. The AI for Entrepreneurship program is designed with a learner-first approach, ensuring that even those without prior knowledge of AI can grasp its applications in the business world.

It includes interactive video lectures, case studies of AI-powered startups, and hands-on exercises to apply AI tools in entrepreneurial settings. The ambitious goal of skilling 100,000 youth through this program signals a shift in how India approaches digital empowerment. It lays the foundation for a new generation of AI-powered startups across various sectors such as agri-tech, health-tech, and retail.

As digital transformation accelerates and AI reshapes industries, equipping India’s youth with the right skills is crucial. This initiative is a bold step toward ensuring that India’s young minds are not just consumers of technology but creators and leaders in the AI-driven economy.
