Welcoming Kavikrut’s appointment, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for IT and Industries of the Government of Telangana, highlighted his passion for startups, global experience, and operational skills.
“His leadership will play a crucial role in making India a powerhouse of entrepreneurship,” Ranjan said. T-Hub, established by the Telangana Government and overseen by a Board of Directors from Hyderabad’s industry and academic ecosystem, has supported over 2,000 startups to date. Kavikrut, a native of Hyderabad, expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, saying, “Telangana’s commitment to startups has been truly inspiring…
I am honoured to have the opportunity to build upon the pioneering work T-Hub has been doing for the past decade. I am excited by the potential of Hyderabad as it steadily grows into a hub for startups building products and services for the world.”
Founder director at T-Hub and founder chairman of IT firm Cyient, B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, described Kavikrut’s appointment as a significant milestone for T-Hub. With this appointment, the Congress government has now completed naming heads for all three major startup ecosystem establishments in Hyderabad – T-Hub, hardware prototyping facility T-Works, and women entrepreneurship-focused WE Hub – since taking office in December 2023.
