The Swedish Institute (SI) has opened applications for the She Entrepreneurs Leadership Programme 2025, designed for highly motivated women entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The program aims to support women building scalable businesses that contribute to sustainable climate solutions in areas such as water, energy, food production, the circular economy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and transportation. She Entrepreneurs offers practical, hands-on leadership training based on real business experience, collaborative learning, and a participant-centric approach.
The program equips participants with tangible tools, insights, and connections necessary to grow their businesses and develop as both entrepreneurs and leaders. To be eligible, applicants must be women entrepreneurs with operational businesses ready to expand, based in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, or Tunisia. Their businesses should have the potential to develop a financially sustainable model and contribute to sustainable climate solutions.
The program runs for about six months, combining regular online workshops, learning groups, tailored coaching, and mentoring. It includes one intensive week of onsite learning in Stockholm in September.
Leadership training for MENA women entrepreneurs
Participants should plan to dedicate around five hours per week to the program. The online training and mentorship phase runs from the end of April to the end of October 2025, following a highly practical approach that allows participants to apply the knowledge and insights gained directly to their businesses. Regular online workshops cover various topics that help grow turnover, operations, and build resilient leadership and teams.
The onsite learning week in Stockholm will take place between September 22 and 28, 2025. It will be an intensive week of learning, combining workshops, mentoring, field visits, and networking. The program covers expenses such as flights to and from Stockholm, accommodation and most meals during the onsite learning week, insurance, and all training materials.
Interested applicants should apply before the March 6, 2025 deadline. More information can be found on the Swedish Institute’s official website.
