The Swedish Institute’s “She Entrepreneurs” 2025 program now accepts applications from women entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa. This six-month leadership program offers mentorship, networking, and business growth opportunities to help female entrepreneurs scale their businesses and create sustainable solutions. The application period runs from February 6, 2025, to March 6, 2025.

The program will take place from April 2025 to October 2025, including an in-person learning week in Stockholm from September 22 to 28, 2025. To be eligible, applicants must be women entrepreneurs with an operational business ready to scale, focusing on sustainability in areas such as water, food production, renewable energy, the circular economy, infrastructure, or transport. They must also be citizens of Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, or Tunisia and proficient in English.

The program consists of online training and mentorship from April to October 2025, with workshops, training modules, group coaching, and personalized mentorship. The in-person learning week in Stockholm will feature intensive business development sessions, workshops on innovation and strategy, networking events, and visits to Swedish startups. Past participants have seen great success, such as Lina from Jordan, who expanded her eco-friendly packaging company and secured a grant, and Mouna from Tunisia, who restructured her agritech startup (use of technology to improve farming practices), leading to a 40% revenue increase.

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed between March 31 and April 9, 2025; final admission offers will be sent on April 15, 2025. Tips for strengthening applications include clearly stating the business vision, highlighting scalability, showcasing innovation, and demonstrating leadership potential. The Swedish Institute covers flights, accommodation, meals, insurance, and all learning materials for the program.

Applicants must have a good command of English and an operational business with some traction. The time commitment is approximately five hours weekly for online sessions plus the in-person week in Stockholm. This career-defining opportunity is not to be missed.
